Our History

The SPL-Group (formerly Shaw & Paterson Joinery Ltd) was established in 1989 as a partnership between two joiners Tom Paterson and Tom Shaw.

Having strong leadership skills and focusing on quality, service and training, they have built a resilient business with highly skilled tradesmen operating as preferred contractors with national house builders throughout Scotland with the same relationships maintained today, of which they are extremely proud.

Today grown from a small partnership, the Company has introduced new divisions and have the capabilities to provide enhanced services to the Construction Industry, Independent Developers and Individuals alike.
